Man Coed offers specialised services in arboriculture, overhead power line engineering, grounds maintenance and facilities management, as well as technical support for the electrical supply industry. We ensure that our client’s power supply lines are kept clear and constant, whilst ensuring that the work is undertaken to the absolute highest safety standards. The work varies in scope from maintenance work on overhead lines to cyclical grass cutting and in scale from small businesses to national contracts. Our highly skilled teams operate throughout the UK and we are proud to provide, individually tailored arboriculture services throughout the UK, to a diverse array of organisations, from small landowners to local authorities and large utility operators.

Our services range from Professional Tree Inspections for tree health, safety and development (BS 5837:2102) through to all aspects of arboricultural and silvicultural work. Our operations are completed with in consideration of BS 3998 – 2010, and current Electrical Network Association (ENA) recommendations G55/1 and G55/2, and Electrical Technical Recommendations (ETR) 132 and ETR 136.

All of our team hold nationally recognised Arboricultural qualifications and are competent in a wide range of tasks, ensuring all works are carried out to BS3998 Recommendations for Tree Work/2010. All staff are encouraged to continually improve their skills and knowledge. We provide staff with tailored training, mentoring and external one-to-one coaching to meet their unique development needs.

ManCoed are able to provide maintenance solutions tailored to our clients requirements. We apply our same high attention to detail to large scale multi site contracts as we do to smaller individual bespoke projects.

Incorporating our specialist in house GIS systems and remote work instructions and reporting, we are able to provide live data showing the progress of any work within the UK at the touch of a button as well as time linked before and after photos.

We have a dedicated specialist overhead power line engineering division, which is able to co-ordinate and manage network outages, in addition to carrying out a wide range of maintenance activities on the overhead line network.

This includes re-conductoring, refurbishment, new construction, line patrolling and Electricity Safety Quality Continuity Regulations (ESQCR) related maintenance. These works can be linked with our vegetation management works to obtain optimum efficiency and reduce customer minutes lost (CML’s) and Customer Interruption’s (CI’s).

The Electrical division of Man Coed provides numerous services for our Distribution Network Operators (DNO) in the UK and we work collaboratively in long-term, strategic framework partnerships with our customers where understanding the demands of the regulator and our DNO clients is key to our success.
